Damen Hoisting is the specialist lifting and hoisting company. We inspect, maintain and repair all types of hoisting and lifting equipment.

Our team works ‘Below the Hook’ and ‘Above the Hook’, with the experience and skills to benefit your lifting operations. This includes overhead cranes, electric chain hoists, steel wire rope cranes, monorails, wall jib cranes and offshore rigging projects.

• Maintenance, repair & testing
  We have a fully equipped workshop in Schiedam. With a test capacity up to 1800-tonne testbeds and 3,000m³ of workspace, these are ideal for all our maintenance, repair and testing operations. Furthermore, they are located in the heart of two important maritime hubs.
• On-site inspections
  Our certified inspectors can carry out onsite inspections at customer locations too. This service includes maintenance – keeping equipment up-to-date to ensure safe and secure lifting at all times.
• Certification
  Damen Hoisting works to the highest level of lifting and hoisting standards in the Netherlands. We are certified as a recognized inspection company for lifting and hoisting equipment (known as EKH in Dutch). This certification is for both ‘Below the Hook’ and ‘Above the Hook’.
• Sale of lifting equipment
  Do you need to buy equipment? We have a broad selection of specialist lifting and hoisting gear for you. We can also advise you with your purchase.
• Training courses and advice
